Jessica
Kennel Tech/Veterinary Assistant
About Jessica
Jessica joined our team in 2020 as a dedicated veterinary assistant. A first-generation college graduate, Jessica earned a Bachelor of Science degree from FNU, finishing with an impressive 3.8 GPA. Her journey into veterinary medicine began in middle school while volunteering at a dog rescue—an experience that sparked her passion and led to a career focused on making a difference in the lives of animals.
Jessica loves the ever-changing nature of her work and the opportunity to see something new every day. One of her favorite parts of the job is spending time with patients—especially when she gets to play and connect with them. The most rewarding moments for Jessica come when she sees a patient recover from an illness and return home to their family.
At home, Jessica shares her life with four beloved dogs: a clever Staffy mix, a tub-loving Lab mix, a lettuce-obsessed Pitbull mix, and a clumsy-but-charming German Shepherd.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys listening to rock music, playing video games, and indulging in her favorite treat—mangos. Her favorite movie is Sonic the Hedgehog, and she has a special love for pitbulls and Staffy breeds.
