Diane

Practice Manager

Diane started with Dr. Bergeron over 30+ years ago working as a kennel assistant. She literally “worked her way to the top” because she and Dr. B got married in 1998! She became a stay-at-home mom for their 3 children but her love for the animals brought Diane back when they were in middle school. She knows all aspects of the hospital and is always willing to lend a helping hand.

In her spare time, Diane enjoys spending time with her Dobermans Thor and Scarlet, and her newest addition a German Shepherd named Gamora, all of them rescues. Diane also enjoys fishing and participating in local 5k charity events.

Melissa

Certified Veterinary Technician

Melissa joined Park Veterinary Hospital in late 2017 after moving from New York. She was working as a licensed veterinary technician for the same hospital for 24 years before deciding she needed a change of scenery. She moved to sunny South Florida in early 2017 and hasn’t looked back. Since moving here, Melissa has updated her licensing credentials to become a certified veterinary technician (CVT) as well.

She shares her home with her husband Adam, and their 3 cats: Valiant (aka Mr. Personality), a Flame Point Himalayan, Rusty and Sammy both domestic shorthaired adopted though PVH. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with friends, volleyball, watching pro football and baseball and now, since the move, going to the beach!

Jennifer

Veterinary Assistant

Jennifer started working for Park Veterinary Hospital as receptionist in late 2014. Her expertise and care for animals led her behind the scenes helping in every way she can. You may find her answering phones, bathing patients, ‘teching’ our exam rooms, assisting in surgeries and even attending the front desk at times leading her to her veterinary assistant role. Her personalized care is one of her favorite aspects of her job.

Jennifer shares her home with her husband, two sons in addition to her lab Dixie, and German Shepherd Charlie. In her spare time, you can find her participating in outdoor activities like fishing, swimming and four wheeling with her family.

Shane

Veterinary Technician

Although born in Babylon, Long Island, Shane grew up here in sunny south Florida. He started working as a kennel technician with PVH in 2015. He worked in the veterinary industry since 2012 and decided he was interested in becoming a surgical technician.  Shane has since been promoted, achieving his goals as not only a veterinary technician but as a surgical technician as well. He also has special interest in the treatment plans of the patients.

Shane has a daughter named Jade Marie, and shares his house with 2 pitbulls, Rhodey and M.J. along with a mixed breed named Gwen Stacey and a cat they call Sasuke. In his free time, Shane enjoys drawing, gaming, skateboarding, and playing basketball.

Kaitlyn

Veterinary Assistant

As Dr. Bergeron’s middle daughter, Kaitlyn has been around the hospital long before it first opened. Many may recognize her as a technician assistant, especially over the COVID months. She is currently pursuing a DVM at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine following in her father’s footsteps, but she spends her semester breaks at PVH to continue her career in vet medicine.

In her spare time, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her family, dogs, and friends.

Anel

Client Service Representative

Starting her career in the animal field back in 2018 while working at a ranch in Davie, Anel also worked as a kennel technician taking care of puppies at a local pet shop. Her drive to work in the animal field brought her to our PVH family during the COVID years when the world shut down. Although only a few were able to ‘see’ her face to face due to our curbside service, many knew her friendly voice on the other side of the phone when calling in. As our main client service representative, Anel goes above and beyond to help our clients and has been a wonderful asset to PVH.

In her spare time, aside from shopping, Anel enjoys spending time with her array of pets including her dogs, Santo and JC, Spooky, her Netherland Dwarf bunny, and her collection of snakes!

Jenny

Veterinary Technician

Jenny joined our PVH family in March of 2022. She has experience working with a variety of different animals since 2013: working at an alligator rescue, a horse ranch, Zoo Miami, a wildlife rehab as a vet assistant and a kennel manager at another small animal practice. Jenny graduated in December 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science.

In her spare time, you can find Jenny traveling and boating. Jenny shares her home with 2 Belgian Malinois, 2 Pitbull mixes, 2 snakes and 1 bird!

Tiffany

Veterinary Technician

When we say PVH is family, we mean it. Tiffany is Patty’s daughter and has been around the animal industry since she was born. Bringing her skills to PVH during the ‘COVID’ years, Tiffany has remained a valuable asset to us. She enjoys the daily challenges and has a special interest in radiology and ultrasounds.

Tiffany shares her home with a wirehaired pointer named Murphy, a collie mix named Jack, a Scottish fold named Louie, a ferret named Splinter, and the newest rescue, a Yorkie named Calamari. When she has any ‘personal’ time, Tiffany enjoys going to concerts, camping, hiking, and spending time “on the water”.

Julio

Veterinarian Technician

Although he doesn’t currently have any of his own, Julio fills his love for animals by taking care of all the furry friends that come through PVH daily.  Joining our team in the beginning of 2023, Julio finds it fascinating to diagnose patients when they can’t speak for themselves. Julio is a licensed veterinarian in Peru and is in the process for his licensor in the United States.

In his spare time, Julio enjoys reading, traveling, studying, meditation and yoga.
